This solution joins a few of our other structural plate crossings already in service on the base
AIL is proud to have been selected to design and supply a stream crossing solution for CFB Gagetown in New Brunswick. Our Super-Cor Arch and MSE Retaining Wall solution joins a few of our other structural plate crossings already in service on the base.
Prior to the tender on this one, we worked very closely with the consultant, Wood PLC, and Department of National Defence project leaders to come up with the optimum arch geometry and wall design.
This was the first time our client, Philson Ltd., had installed a structure like this, so we took extra time to ensure our site assistance was as thorough as possible.
Walking our “We Support You” talk
We worked very closely with the Philson team, providing updates on material delivery and offering on-site guidance at key junctures throughout the assembly of the arch structure and headwalls. Plus, we were always on call if issues arose.
Philson was very pleased with our site assistance, as it avoided delays during installation. They’ve gone on to become a repeat customer on a few projects since this one and we are looking forward to future business in 2019. It’s just one more example of our motto: We Support You.
