Building on the successful outcome of our 2012 project, a second AIL STORMAWAY Stormwater Management System was specified for the continued expansion of this retail/residential development in Salmon Arm, BC. This system is made up of two large 17 m x 2200 mm runs, joined by a full-size cross connector which required some special finessing from our manufacturing team.
Superior water-tightness — it’s the way we roll
Due to the anticipated flows and the full-size cross connect on this detention system, we needed to come up with a way to create the most water-tight seal that we could. Our manufacturing team devised a rolled flange which created a superior seal and an easier installation.
