AIL Mining recently secured an order for two smaller Bolt-A-Plate structures (similar to the one pictured here) to serve as manway/vent shafts at a Northern Quebec mine site.
Components shipped by sea
The project was under such a tight timeline that we quickly designed the structure based on a simple design and drawing. We then produced the Bolt-A-Plate in our Ayr, Ontario, facility in under four weeks — just in time to make the scheduled sailing out of Montreal.
All parties — sales, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing — were involved to make sure the delivery could be achieved. The product made it to the dock in time and is currently enroute to Northern Quebec, ready to make structures similar to the one shown here.
Bolt-A-Plate is ideal for medium and small applications
For a strong, effective solution for less demanding projects, Bolt-A-Plate Structural Steel Plate is the product of choice for its light weight, strength and versatility. It is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making it perfect for many different applications in the mining sector.
